The SpiderAlert MDT-122 S Man
Down Transmitter is a microprocessor controlled, type-3 emergency call transmitter for the protection of
security personnel in correctional facilities or for lone workers in
high risk environments.
The man down transmitter features
two one-touch buttons for wireless type-3 duress alerting. Pressing the
emergency call buttons, triggers the device to emit identification
and location data that is used by the SpiderAlert Emergency Call
System to identify the individual under duress and to determine the
location of the urgent situation to sub-room level precision.
The transmitter contains a man
down tilt switch for auto duress alarming tilt when the protected
staff member is knocked down or when the transmitter is tilted by
more than 60 ° from vertical position. The man down transmitter is
also equipped with a security pull lanyard that activates a help
summons, if an attempt is made to remove the device from the
protected worker by force.
Powered by a single alkaline
battery; the SpiderAlert Man Down Transmitter is energy efficient,
providing up to three years of service before needing replacement.
